And you didn’t even know I was away.
I went on a two week trip to Italy in mid-October, with an unplanned 3-day stopover in London on the way back. But now I’m back and getting back to what passes for normal.
While I was away, Apple announced new MacBooks, iMacs, Mac minis and more, Microsoft released Windows 7, and other news in tech just kept happening. The HP Mini 311, with ION graphics, became more available and added Win7. And while the international travel rationale for having a mini netbook is in the past, I still crave one. However, not truly having a full Mac I can call my very own, I have found myself coveting the new white Macbook. The only problem? Money is tight, credit is tighter, the holidays approach, and I still have acces to a couple of decent Macs (though their hard drive space is all but gone). On the plus side in my personal tech world, I’ve upgraded to Win7 on the first of my two main PCs.
